Many people inquire about our company name. Semper Amici (“forever friend” in Latin) came from Jose’s background as a US Marine K9 handler. The latin term Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful) is the motto of the U.S. Marine Corps. Semper meaning always and Amici translating to the word friends, to describe the everlasting bond between us and our canine companions.
The face of the logo is Gris, his K9 partner, who served multiple tours overseas. The drawing is based on an actual photo taken of him during their first tour together in Iraq.

Our dog needed to be calm and trained ASAP since we have a new baby on the way and she was tearing up the backyard and jumping on everyone all of the time. We wanted to allow her inside but she was way too wild!

"Incredibly Beneficial"
Our German shepherd displayed extreme fear aggression and anxiety. He was one of those dogs that we hid away from the public so we wouldn’t find ourselves in a lawsuit from an accident happening. When we dropped off Kylo for the All A-Board Training program we had no real idea what to expect we just knew we needed help. We are 2 months in and with both reinforcement training and our own up keep at the house we have a completely different dog. Confident, disciplined, and eager to learn but still the same boy we love with all the same personality.
Jose and Paul are incredibly skilled and talented with all sorts of dogs. Any breed and any size is their specialty. Not only are they great with the dogs but the fact that they insist on taking the appropriate amount of time with you as the owner is incredibly beneficial.

I cannot recommend Semper Amici Canine Training enough. It’s an investment that will repay itself over and over again. We adopted a 75-pound Doberman who had no sense of personal boundaries or house manners. He was so big that it was hard to manage him. When our boy came home from his first week of Board and Train, I could not get over the positive changes Jose was able to accomplish in one week. After 3 weeks — a complete transformation! Jose is a complete professional and so knowledgeable. He also gave us practical tips to implement at home and they have worked! We loved our dog before training, but now we are actually enjoying him.
